I have some guns that shoot the .22 Hornet ammo... and I also have dies to reload it as well. Here's the rub.. it's hard to find "reasonably priced" .22 Hornet ammo. I'm hoping that there are a lot of people out there that have a box or two of old .22 Hornet ammo in the back of the ammo cabinet. I've found a couple of people with some, but need more to build up some brass to reload. The .22 Hornet brass is very thin and fragile... and requires special attention to ensure longevity. Yes, I know the .223 will do everything the .22 Hornet will do in spades... including down loaded loads to act like the .22 Hornet rounds. But there's just something about this "old" round that intrigues me. If anyone has any .22 Hornet or brass they no longer need, I'd be happy to take it off your hands for $s or do some horse trading.
